Fylgia Law has represented the Scandinavian Astor Group (publ) (“Astor Group” or “the Company”) in the acquisition of Mikroponent Aktiebolag (“Mikroponent”). Through this acquisition, the Astor Group strengthens its position in the defense sector.
Fylgia acted as an advisor to the Scandinavian Astor Group (Spotlight: ASTOR), a prominent technology group in the defense industry. Astor Group, delivering a wide variety of products, services, and technical solutions in civil security, military defense, and industrial products, completed the acquisition of all shares in Mikroponent Aktiebolag on December 11, 2023, with support from Fylgia.
By acquiring Mikroponent, Astor Group expands its distribution of defense products, further consolidating its position in the defense sector.

Mikroponent, based in Värnamo, is a leading player in industrial etching and laser cutting, serving as a subcontractor to several significant units in Swedish medical technology and the automotive industry. Similar to Astor Group, Mikroponent focuses on defense products as a central part of its business.
